Only managed last nights gig with The Who, and have to say it was one of the best I've been to. Sound was superb, band was tight, Roger can still reach the high notes and Pete still swings that arm! 2 solid hours of their hits, everyone jumping. Thought it was utterly brilliant.....

Heard very mixed reports of the previous 2 nights. Anyone go along?

Wife went to Pharrell and thought it was great, I went to The Who and thought it was outstanding, not as good as GnR but brilliant all the same.

We went to Armin and The Who. Armin was a massive surprise and we loved it. Didn't stop dancing for over 2 hours. He played a massive set and we (10 of us) didn't stop. The Who was disappointing and thought they looked old and knackered. It wasn't helped not liking the music particularly, it definitely was a memory lane for the generation above. An alright night out, really. (Bear in mind that I loved the Stones and Iron Maiden!)

My knowledge of both was pretty poor before hand.

I thought The Who were great and really enjoyed it, been to the Du Arena a few times and always think its a pretty good venue. Went to Armin on the Friday but only stayed for 30 mins as didn't want to get stuck in the taxi queue.

60 AED for a warm flat pint of Fosters though!!
