Good afternoon all

I have been reading alot of forums on accommodation in Al Khabor but to be frank most are either very old or just not helpful

I am about to accept a job offer which will have me based in Damman and what I have read so far is the Al Khabor is most likely the best place to live/base myself. It will only be myself and my wife and we have already decided that the option of living in Bahrain and commuting is really not an option.

Most websites i have been looking at for expat accommodation in compounds do not specify prices and the few that we did like seem to be very very expensive (150-200K SAR per year) - that is way out of my range by double.

Does anyone know of a good compound for expats (preferably Brits/Americans/Aust/NZ/Eurpoean) that would be ideal for myself and my wife - Looking for a 2 bedroom fully furnished place with alot of compound amenities and if possible a cafe/store)

Would be most helpful for any advise/contact numbers etc - Will be moving initially by myself in Mar with my wife joining me in Aug 17

Al Khobar has Eurovillage. Dammam has some too. The sight of the heavy machine-guns outside Eurovillage was a daily reminder that there were people in the area who had ill-will for the unbelievers in their midst.
