In Islamic law, men should pay an alimony to their divorced wives; but now women demand not only the alimony; but also demanding fees as the end of service benefits from their ex-husbands for enjoying their bodies during marriage.

A prominent Saudi judge, said that courts never considered this issue as women never asked for, as they didnt know about this right so never asked for.The judge who came out with such a bold ruling, has said to the Arabic Saudi newspapers Aljazeira that“The reason that a divorced woman has not been granted indemnity of this kind by her ex-husband is because she has not demanded it in court,”.

He also said that"I, think this is a negligence by women not by courts because a judge cannot impose anything unless the plaintiff makes a plea.”

This opinion may find so many opposition in KSA specially by those who thinks women shouldn't ask for any thing, and should accept whatever her Ex, or family say, or do.
