Default Ewaan Friday Brunch @ Palace Hotel Downtown

Anyone been? Any good?

I heard (and read a review) that said it was 'mostly seafood' which is fine by me but we are taking guests............ the review was excellent but I think our guests might like more variety, food-wise.

Thanks in advance.

I've done the brunch at the Palace.

It was probably two years ago now, but was good. Yes, lots of seafood but some other stuff as well (I think they have a BBQ outdoors). We were outside with a cabana type thing and was nice.

If you want to have a good brunch then just go to Nezzas, it's ****ing brilliant.

I done it a few times and I don't eat anything that comes from the water. There's a mixture of food, not the biggest selection in the world but adequate and Scamp is correct, they do have an outdoor BBQ bit.

Having said I've done it a few times, I've always been taken by my company, personally I've never pay to go there as the drink service is so so slow, you have to constantly remind and ask for a drink.

Not so much these days - you have caught me in one of two situations:

1 - when there is a special deal going (2-for-1, or whatever), or:

2 - when friends/visitors come to Dubai, and wonder what the 'Dubai brunch thing' is all about

When I first lived here, I went to the same brunch every Friday - with the same friends............ I know better now........
