An absolute joke. I could name you at least 12 countries better than England right now, but I won't.

Re: Euro 2012
Everyone beats Estonia....... of all the runners-up in qualifying who were in six-team pools, they finished with the fewest points......... the Boggies beat them 4-0 away in the play-off.

Nobody wants to play England in a major tournament

I agree with that logic. So let's see, what other examples do we have of teams with zero expectations up front going all the way? Denmark and Greece for sure...

Re: Euro 2012
The Euro's is arguably a tougher competition to win than the World Cup as there's not so many duff teams and the formats more intense so you really can't cruise through the group stage , so your basically playing knockout football from the outset .
You need to win from the start because the groups are so tough , i see that working in England's favour , it will not be pretty but it could be effective.
Tournament football is a mindset , it's never about your best eleven .
Well , that's what i'm believing

Hodgson has more European international experience than English club experience - we might just spring a surprise.
In The Times, Tony Cascarino thinks England will win the pool on goal diff (he's done a match-by-match score prediction jobby, and added them all up). But he's got Portugal beating England in the Semi, then losing to Spain in the Final.

I agree with the usual suspects but Mexico , Chile , Russia and Uruguay no way and i'd rank England just as good as Italy , France and Portugal .

Reasons why inviting Poland/Ukraine to host this thing was a mistake:
No 1: Neo-Nazi racist thugs masquerading as fans.
No 2: 13 of top 18 nations in FIFA's global rankings will be at Euro 2012. Only Czech Rep (27) Ukraine (52) and Poland (62) are higher.

Where's a good place to watch the footy near west bay/diplomatic area? I've been the Irish bar before but it was way too smoky for my liking.
