Default Emirates are pretty cack, aren't they?

I mean, it's all well and good building a nice, spanking new terminal all for yourself, but when you then park the bloody plane half-an-hour's bus ride away from it, even when there are spare PLBs, you start to look a bit amateurish. At least at Doha airport you know what's in store.

Then there's the bloody high-level security check on people who've just come off a plane...

I'd mention the food, but there wasn't enough of it.

It's good to be back in the Sand Pit.

The only airline I've used in the last few years is Emirates so I became immune to them. Then flew back to UK a few weeks ago with Virgin and realised just how bad Emirates have become.

its the staff that get me on emirates, they absolutely believe themselves to be the best things since sliced bread and that dealing with paying customers is beneath them.
without a doubt the rudest flying matresses in the business

Can't stand Emirates - they have been shite for years not to mention overpriced.

I prefer Etihad - the staff are much friendlier, the service and food is often better and Abu Dhabi airport still has that smaller and friendlier feel to it.

I'm booked on the return leg DOH-DXB-BHX on 31st July. Dammit. Only good thing will be that I'm going home.

It's too bloody big, and a hike to get to Irish Village for a drink and a smoke before the flight.

Last week it took my folks 90 minutes from getting off the plane to getting through arrivals.

Aye, didn't even realise AD had 3 terminals!

Have they still got The Piano Bar, capacity for 2 people (1 being the barman)?

I wonder why there is no IV, or equivalent, at Dubai T3?

Apparently there is a bar on the first floor, The Hub, but I haven't been able to find it yet. The staff are as helpful as ever when you ask them directions.
