Default Emirates Airline feeling the downturn?

Apparently not.
I've just tried to change my flight from the UK back to dxb from the 28th to 29th and flights are full until the 10th December!

Sorry 30th, on the day flight from BHX. Its full. They are saying all the flights are full but they are still quoting availability on a lot of flights for new bookings.

Typical airline overbooking.

By the way. With the exchange rate, you'd be mental not to book flexible tickets from London to Dubai and back.

I just did and got it for 370 quid. So thats about dh2,000....

I didn't realise. I've just checked today and you can get a direct flight from Newcastle to Dubai return for £400.00. Dubai to Newcastel return is £800.00!! Someone is milking it!

Most of the middle eastern airlines charge extortionate return rates from their home market as they know it is a captive one, the clever opportunists that can, always book the return starting from europe/anywhereelsebutthemiddleeast
