Well Elton John as expected was very professional, and got to admit as much as everything was sung right I think he got his song mix wrong, he really needed to step it up a notch with the audience (only my humble opinion) still a fan.....

Yes it was good, worth the trip, but I have left a concert thinking WOW great, last night it was more Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Okay that was good....

I didn't really rate it. I was expecting it to be fantastic. He played too much on his piano! (I know that is what he does but instead of songs lasting 3mins they were lasting 7-8mins)
I left at 11pm, what time did he play till?

i kinda get the feeling he is going through the motions a bit...still wants the adulation and the money...but is indulging himself rather than doing what the fans want...

We thought the same. He is still one of the best entertainers but he could've done more for the crowd.
My leg was ok (thanks for asking )it's bloody sore this morning though! I feel like I've walked a marathon, we had to park miles away.
All in all, I'm glad I went but I wouldn't go again.

Yes Elton looked a bit bored himself and kind of going through the motions, maybe he was having a strop....And for his tour he really should rethink his song mix...

Quite a well organized venue and as it was my 1st time in Abu Dhabi looked quite nice place...

I was very impressed with the venue- loads of car parking (although a bit of a walk away) and plenty of room inside. The concert itself was only average- I also thought the song mix was all wrong and thought he looked a bit bored. Quite a few people seemed to be leaving early as well, maybe because it was a work night.

Glad you could make out the songs....

For all my pre-gig moaning, I really enjoyed the gig. Oh, except for candle in the wind and the f'ing lion king song. All the R&B stuff beforehand was great.
