Eh What made you choose Dubai?

Just wondering, because despite a thin veil of nice buildings and malls isn't it a bit backwards in its mentality etc?

How do you find living there, and is this a long term move or back to blighty after a stint in the desert? I heard they kick you out when you get to 60

looking at what England had to offer, Dubai was a much better choice!

TAX FREE LIVING

LIFE EXPERIENCE

going to travel as much as possible, make as much as possible before heading home (not so sunny Newcastle), unless something comes along the way!

Lifes to short live it to the max

may seem a bit mercenary but I've met nice, cool people over here, I have a better lifestyle, nicer place to live, car to drive, got a good job, always out in bars, clubs, parks, beaches etc - can afford to fly home when I like, 3 or 4 times a year,

and aye, probably be here 3 years, then move on somewhere else.

But unless your rich they force you to retire. But I never so older people anyway there, as it's not soo good for retirees.

I like the nightlife, but it's damn expensive for a pint I was paying about £4.80 i think. What do you do there Spugsy?

yeah but you earn more so its not miles different, I went to the irish village a month or so back for the Toon game, bought my mate a few drinks and got well stuck into the beer, had a bit of food as well, and I spent £107.

Crikey.

I'm a designer, brochures, ads you see in newspapers / magazines, mainly Dubai Festival City - its pretty good.

Do you miss seeing greenery and trees, what about four seasons? Cool air on your face...

How long will it remain income tax free in your opinion? 5 years? 10?

yeah I do, the greenery is the worst part, I really miss it, the blue skies (don't anyone dare tell me they are as good as back home), and the smell of the countryside,

but there's sun here, every single bloody day.

I liked the heat in Dubai then walking into malls. But I never found the sky to be blue at all, just looked hazy or smoggy, do you know if Dubai is polluted?
