Economy Improving at Home?

So do you think the economy is improving back home, staying the same or getting worse?

If you've been sacked: getting worse.
If you've kept your job: staying the same.
If you've been promoted: it is improving.

None of my friends in the UK have lost their jobs and a couple have just made big leaps forward. Only one is currently worse off, but that because he is a leftie barrister and legal aid has been cut.

I think that is a thorough and brilliant analysis into the UK economy.

I get what you are saying. It's basically a matter of individual perspective. What I was driving at though, is whether as a whole the economy is picking up, which would mean more expats would probably head back home for jobs, which would in turn (I think) would lead to salary hikes to retain expats here in the Sharq al Awsat.

It is picking up

I do not believe that there will be Salary hikes in Sharq al Watsit to compensate. There is always a greater fool in the queue.
