110 a night. It's a ****ing bargain.

Though, imagine if you booked it and hadn't been here before. Out the airport, over the creek, through the towers on SZR, passing by the Khalifa and downtown, alongside the jumbo villas of Jumeirah, quick look at MoE and the ski slope, into the Marina and JLT, then out on SZR leaving all the nice bits behind. Into an industrial estate. In the middle of nowhere.

You'd be gutted.

Also, I'm glad the website clears this issue up;

Hotel Services

Arrival at the Hotel

When registering at reception, you will receive a room key enabling you - for the duration of your stay - to open the door to your bedroom.

Yeah, happy for that. You have to pay for the remote control though ;)

You'll need it - dear God it is in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Please tell me you have a car as I doubt any taxi will go there too happily...

Not been in the rooms but attended a course that used the restaurant there - I'm sure it's good value but it's going to be very basic and stuck at the arse end of a warehouse estate...

You could always get yourself a takeaway from Ibn Battuta ;)

Hopefully I can bung a taxi driver an extra 10dhs and remind him he can pick up a fare at Ibn Battuta...

Literally just needed a bed to crash in for the night. Expect to be in the office late and again early. Hopefully it won't stink of smoke like the Ramada did last night :unsure:

Oyibopeppeh - food, right? ;)
