And now they are building a Jumeira Tram line from JBR through to Jumeira and to link with the metro, all very nice but!

yes, I wish they'd master the basics of transport like that "being able to cross the road safely" thing before putting in yet more infrastructure.

It's going to be great getting from JBR to the Marina when you have to emerge from a car park, cross 2 lanes of traffic, then a tram-line, then another 2 lanes of traffic and hope to god that the pavement on the other side actually exists and that they've put a drop-curb in so that you don't have to lever your buggy up an oversized curb whilst standing in the oncoming traffic.
