Depends how high/low you think they were at the start of 2009 (i.e. how much they had already fallen in 2008).

I just happened to look up a price of a 1bed in residences in downtown burj dubai earlier today.
I had nearly bought one in mid 2008 - a month or 2 before the crash.....today it seems they've fallen around 50%
