Dubai driving licence

I need to get one.

I have a full UK car and motorcycle licence. How do I get a Dubai licence and where do I need to go? What supporting documents will I need and how much does it cost?

I only have the card of my licence. i.e. I've left the paper supporting bit at home. Do I need that aswell?

that link gives you info on getting a license if you don't have a license from your homecountry.

you will need the paper bit from your UK license as well, the card bit, non objection letter, visa/residency, a few pasport pics and an eye test paper which you can get at opticians in any mall, or it can be done there. Think it's 100 dhs (or maybe 150 dhs).
The costs are 360 dhs. There is the general traffic department Al Barsha branch, in between Umm Sequim street (next to Mall of the Emirates) and the Gold Souk on SZR.
Apparently there is also a branch in the Coop on Al Wasl, but I've never used that one.
