Dubai buys Spanish La Liga club, to rename ‘Team Dubai’

Should have bought Arsenal.

I guess quite soon we will hear Tesco United

They might have a controling stake in the club but i doubt there will be a name change , just P.R bull from A.B as usual....

Although not on the same scale, there were a couple of teams who went through names changes to align with their sponsor - one in League of Wales became known as TNS Total Network Solutions FC or something, and I'm sure a Conference team then were known as Vauxhall Motors United or something.

Exact details escapes me, but it's not a new concept.
