Dubai brunches...
a little quiet yesterday?
All the brunch oiks up at the golf. Full of twentysomething Sr Recruitment Consultants/Quantity Surveyors/IFA/QROPS specialists etc all Abercrombie'd up and on the piss.
But one of the plusses there were some fine Bonking Bex-esque fillies following aforementioned oiks.
Great day out though. Amazing how the villas surrounding the course haven't progressed in the three years since I last went.

Left Bank was like an episode of The Only Way is Essex.
Lasted five minutes in there before wanting to murder everyone...apparently 'going to the golf' means you don't watch any of it?
That being said; don't forget how ****ing annoying a group of middle aged men are when they are allowed out together for the day with beer and golf to ignore. On a par (sorry) with the type you mention.

Re: Dubai brunches...
Mr BC is marshalling at the golf and I had this very conversation with him last night. The event seemed to be less about the golf and more about the residents of Dubai having a good time at a free event. There were too many children there making a racket. A baby crying in the stand on the 9th hole? it is wrong in every aspect. I had R with me who is 8 and she totally understood that when the quiet cards are flashed we stand still like musical chairs. Sadly the majority of adults continued walking and talking. The final straw for me was the kids bursting balloons on the the 18th I think the organisers need to take a good look at this event and reconsider how it is formatted. I think all children under the age of 5 should be banned for starters.

No thanks. These days I loathe being surrounded by loads of drunken people.
Whilst there are rugby fans there, many just go as its on the 'Dubai calendar' and are the same idiots that ruin concerts, brunches, bars and anything else you can think of by behaving like idiots. Even worse so many are Brits.

I wonder what the golfers think of the whole event? Isn't it bad enough that some of them have to stay at Atlantis?

Left Bank on the 17th was ****ing tragic. Can't see anything from it, nobody actually shuts up and it was just full of cocks.
Young kids don't belong at something like the golf, yes it's a nice day out but keep them up by the bean bags or something. They don't want to walk 7,000 yards in permanent quiet / silence.
