KS , a sales executive, claims fellow sales executive DM (Brit) reprimanded KS for performing Ummra while in Saudi on a company business trip . KS resigned upon returning to Dubai. KS claims that DM sent a text message insulting Islam & Muhammed.
DM was arrested & interrogated at the police station . DM claims he was set up and that phone records prove he sent no such message. Etisalat says it is possible to send text message from certain websites where the sender can choose the originating # .
The Courts have acquitted DM.

There was a case where a 20 year old salesman at some electronics store at Dubai Mall claimed a tourist walked in and started abusing Islam. The tourist claimed he merely criticized the Pakistani govt. The tourist was found guilty though its obvious who was lying

Not going to happen in a hurry - we're talking about a legal system where a believer's testimony is worth more than a non-believer. More so in the case of women.

Don't worry infidels
, with the way Whitehall kisses GCC ass and a fellow traveller media, blasphemy laws in some fashion will be part of the UK legal system in our lifetimes.
