Dubai advice

1 Attachment(s)
We spent a couple of years living in Dubai, ooh, about 10 years ago. At that time, the first Marina towers were just going up and the Burj Dubai was just a hole in the ground.

We're coming back for a week's holiday next month, first time we've been back to Dubai since we left. The kids can't really remember anything about it, so we're looking forward to having a few trips down memory lane as well as seeing all the new shiny stuff that wasn't there before.

Any tips for things that 12 & 14 year olds might like? Obviously stuff like Wild Wadi will appeal, but anyone got any other suggestions for family must-do's? Recommended restaurants, activities, sights etc? We're staying at a hotel on the Walk in the Marina. Thanks in advance for any hints & tips!

For your amusement, I'm currently working in the Canadian sand-pit, here's a pic I took on my way to work this morning. :)
