Dry weekend starting tonight?

Someone has died

So I assume the three days of mourning starting tonight means a completely dry weekend. Anyone heard anything different.

My wife and I are absolutely devastated by the demise of this great leader of men. Who was it again?

Actually Le Meridian are serving alcohol on the weekend (except for the birthday closure).

I seem to remember from the last one that you can still drink but there's no music or dancing allowed?

Given the number of Sheikhs, and the rate at which that number is growing (and consequently dying), won't every day soon be a day of mourning?

He was the father of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan the Minister for Higher Education.

It depends on the Sheikh's importance. I have known dry mourning periods too.

Exactly, so is Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak al Nahyan the Minister for Higher Education an important one or just an X5 driving wannabe??

I'm booked off tomorrow anyway, but would be nice to save the day holiday!

Last I heard is that it's just dry 6pm tonight - 6pm Friday night.

As long as bars are open by 8pm Saturday I'll be happy.

I thought it was Shk Nahyan at first but it's his old man. Nahyan is the Education bod and a thouroughly top bloke - love his whiskers
