Re: dry night
So, are we sure DXB is not dry on Friday. Its my wedding anniversary and I'm taking the wife out.
I'd hate to have to order a vintage fresh orange

Re: dry night
Quite a few people have already said to me that they have the 1st off for National Day.
Typical luck for me though. A major CEO is flying in that day and I have to spend an hour or two interview him, so no lie in for me if we do get it off.

fluffy- under UAE labour law if you work on a national holiday you are allowed to claim it back ( apart from everyone that works in shops -not sure how that works )

I'm pretty sure that's what I'll get, too. However, seeing as Saturday is half my weekend anyway...
(And apologies, LW, if that's what you were saying, too. I don't do subtlety after 3 in the afternoon...)

Well my Hubs works 11/14 days which means every 2nd Saturday on, and only him and a couple of other guys get that , most of them work every Saturday, For him it means 3 Saturdays off in a row, so I'm pretty pleased with that as it means 3x Friday beer sessions
