Re: Drone attacks
The problem in all this is that a drone has a smaller attack range (200km max) - if it was anything other than a drone - what happened to the air defense and monitoring ?
If its a cruise or other form of missile - i didn't think the Houthis had that sort of technology (unless they have been upgraded) - then its going to be time to batten down the hatches and get that tin hat ready for some fireworks

A lot of talk and posturing coming out of the US, although to be fair, I don't watch much Saudi news, so no idea what their take is. So far, they are just seem to be investigating and trying to identify the culprits.

Iran is thought to have a pair of Shahed 129 drones on Adu Musa which could in theory have made a bomb run that distance. It is highly unlikely that it would have got up without the nearby RN presence putting it back down again. Had it done so it is unlikely its pay load would detonated and had it done so its 400kg load would have made a bigger bang. My moneys on a weaponized chines delivery drone flown line of sight. Simple is the only thing that works in the middle east. Plus why would the Saudis lie? they are terrible at it and why risk getting caught again.

Agreed but at one point in the video, a replica of Santa was made over Europe. I kinda liked that bit.

"The Israeli Iron Dome system is the best system for protecting Saudi assets from a similar attack."
