Driving Lisence
My father has just got his residents visa & now wants a driving licence, apart from below is there anything else he will need at the RTA ?
1) NOC
2) Eye test certificate
3) 8 passport photos
4) Passport / visa & photocopies of both pages
5) UK driving licence
6) Transferral form ???? I have never heard of this before but apparently because his visa is from sharjah & he wants to get his driving licence in Dubai he needs a transferral form is this true ?

Wouldn't it be easier for him to get the licence in Sharjah?

he may need to purchase a spell check software programme for his sons computer to get his "lisence"

True...The more you venture north, the easier it is...In RAK, you buy the licence at the Al Madina supermarket...Costs AED34.95, valid for 12 years, and they give you a coupon for a free shwarma...

does anybody know where the sharjah rta office is ? Are there requirements the same as dubai ?
