Drinks Friday 28th (instead of the Iftar thingy)
 
OK there seems to be a general feeling of Apathy towards the Iftar thingy on the 28th so why dont we go and just get pished instead? Your chance to welcome Mr Mythic to Dubai!

either an all in one buffet like normal or just meeting for drinks somewhere where there is plenty of talent;) !

We are already meeting at the Quiz Night on the 24th so why so soon for yet another rendezvous? Leaving it until after Eid would be sensible in my humble opinion.

Hmm, from friends in the UK i thought iftar was the ceremonial breaking of the fast preceded by prayer.

in Dubai it is a usual 'all you can eat' buffet just like outside Ramadan?

I usually end up doing at least one Iftar in Dubai with friends & family in Ramadan - you can expect an invite, along with any other Iftar virgins who want to try. I'll let you all know when...
