Who drinks 'very hot' tea (>70 degrees Celsius) anyway...most people put milk in it...so probably not a problem.

Last few months,I've got used to drinking green tea with mint - obviously with no milk- weaning myself off the copious amounts of coffee I used to get through......now I can't even drink that...

this one makes a bit of sense, as cellular damage does have a strong link to cancer development, however you've got to be pretty daft to drink 70 deg anything as the throat burns might tip you off that its not a good idea in the first place
