Default Dream Job

Morning all,

Had a dream last night that I got my dream job.
Decided today to start thinking about it more and working out a way towards it.

But it begs the question, what's your dream job?

(No Mission, you can't be a travel agent).

For me, my dream job would running a boutique weight-loss /health kick holiday destination - big villa in the sun, yoga in the morning, weights in the afternoon and evening walks/jogs. Charge fat desperate people a fortune for the privilege and live on smashed avocados on toast.

My dream job was to be an artist/painter. However when it was pointed out very early that being colour blind is an issue I changed it.

When I retire this year I will start painting again - perhaps there will be colour blind buyers !

Might be an advantage?
I don't have that sort of creative skill, sadly.

Always wanted to be a sports journalist, but didn't want to do football. Recent years I've tried and had limited success writing about golf, but last night I broke through, quit the day job and reported on the booming MENA Tour and was mates with all the top players and did awesome interviews and big central long pieces in top magazines etc.

My dream job would be working for world peace and raising kittens.........of course in a gender free society (no animals or feelings were hurt during this production of bullshit)

Not at all actually. I'm no hippy so wouldn't be giving (or doing) the yoga classes for sure. But running a small health-spa business at home would be awesome. I have it on my list this year to do the basic PT exams so to start the ground work.

Of course, I'll change my mind and do something else, but it seems more interesting than renting jet-skis.

As for smashed avocados on toast - what a pointless hipster food and these mugs pay a fortune for it.

It's tasty when covered with bacon, poached eggs and cooked at home.

Fair enough. I can imagine that the market isn't bad but the people who want to go to these sorts of retreats are borderline intolerable, surely?

Oh for sure - massive market but full of people who will either turn out to be (a) insecure whiners blaming everyone else for their failures, (b) swingers hoping it was something else, or (c) posers simply wanting to show off.

I could deal with (a) and (b). (c) could be tricky.

However, you're on to something. In this day it might just be a license to print money.
