Would any Dutch speaking member(s) care to help me translating this? They are talking about a young winger hubby's football team may be buying this summer. Is he any good?

Basically they're talking about how much he progressed when he switched clubs from ADO Den Haag to FC Twente, what a diverse player he is etc. etc. In other tv discussions about him they're calling him a "flankengot", german for wing-god.

he will be good until he gets to Man City and the coach the talent out of him, like they do most of the 'so called' good players that end up there....

if we win on Sunday Shadya, it means I won our bet of a few months back and we have finished above Man City......dont forget to pay up

Sorry but the bet was made null and void when you brought Newcastle Utd into the equation, as you may well recall if you look back more closely...and which may prove to have saved you some money. M'boro have more to play for than Bolton.
