Default Dog Trainer

If anyone could please recommend a good dog trainer, I'd appreciate their contact details (MEOW I emailed the person you mentioned but got no reply).
I am not looking to enrol my dog into any training sessions/courses, I just need someone who will come out to me for maybe 2-3 dog walking training sessions. Thanks.

Took our first dog (a Jack Russell puppy - bitch) to training classes many, many years ago. The first words the trainer said to the class were something along the lines of, "Right, if you think I'm here to train your dogs or puppies then you have come to the wrong class. I am here to teach YOU how to train your animals." Three people immediately left the class which was their loss. We had three more dogs after the first and we managed to train them all without needing to attend any further classes. It's a massive generalisation (but quite often true) but there are very, very few bad dogs but many, many more bad owners.

This is true.

We have had dog trainers trying to train our Lab-Retriever but the problem is we are too dam soft to discipline him and too weak to say No when he insists we give him our food.

yep, I agree, in most cases it's the owners who need the training.

Lovely little thing, but rather reminds of the joke.

What do you get if you cross a pit bull and a rabbit?

Just the pit bull!
