It's not totally clear to me however, whether it was the jack russell or the owner who was hit.

poor dog- I do have a cartoon style mental image of the dog being splatted to the front of the car- g force face, lip wobbling with the wind, eyes wide open with flies splatting him in the face and Im not sure about the owners comment- the wind must have blown him into the road- just how windy was it?

and another odd story- a man that married a pillow..
