Do Yourselves a Favour......
and watch The Soloist.
An utterly beautiful film about Nathaniel Anthony Ayers, a homeless guy in L.A with psychiatric problems and a phenomenal gift for music who is befriended by a hardened newspaper reporter.I'll just let the trailer sell it to ya. A great performance from RDJ but bloody stellar performance from Jaimie Foxx(every bit-no better I think than 'RAY') and he is deserving of an Oscar for it imho. All this against the backdrop of J.S.Bach's beautiful 'Prelude'.
3rd movie I watched today after Hangover(hilarious) and
Edge of Love - being a Dylan Thomas fan and loving the chiselled jawline of the gorgeous Cillian Murphy, I really enjoyed this too.I will never, ever again regard Sienna Miller as a flimsy lightweight after her performance(somewhat erotic at times it has to be said with Ms Knightley-imho anyway)
as Thomas's wife in this movie,I thought she was excellent but The Soloist is just a cut so far above the rest....
Watch it if you haven't already...........

Re: Do Yourselves a Favour......
That guy is Lord Creepy, the Lord Mayor of Creepytown...... he is the only actor to give my daughter nightmares just by looking at his photo......
What do you see in him?? (You are unique by the way - no other woman likes him).

I didn't notice so much, probably becos I ain't Welsh therefor my ear isn't attuned as such and I've never watched her in anything before this so had no expectations other than, I was determined not to like her-based purely on her having had the pleasure of the somewhat obscure Mr Law but I had to concede as I thought she was very good.

Well I must admit that, if I entered the "Best Looking Guy In The World" competition, I'd probably get knocked out in the quarter-finals, but Cillian Murphy??

Taken didn't convince me.......... every lead or clue fell into place too easily for my liking. Don't like him much either.
