Do you know the way to the airport?
 

I have now been approached by three separate individuals in as many weeks trying to sell me cheap suits from the back of a car. The DIFC seems to attract them, i.e., typically well dressed individuals with dodgy Italian accents and the same opening banter each time. Is it a case of caveat emptor or am I missing something here?

Glad to find out this week that there are still top quality Italian threads to be had on the streets of Garhoud if you loiter in the sun long enough.

Given the location he'd clearly found the airport, but needed directions to Abu Dhabi.

I'm sure I encountered them a few weeks back outside my building in the Marina.

Asked for directions to Abu Dhabi then started on the where are you from, how long here etc At this point I just said got to go, good luck etc.

100% sure it was the Armani scammers....
