Do all women prostitute themselves?

Re: Do all women prostitute themselves?
Having seen life from both sides of the cheery transparency / manipulative rut, I feel qualified to say that the former is definitely always worth persuing for quality of life.
Theoretically for both parties, but fully recognizing that not all women are fortunate enough to be fiscally and emotionally independent and sometimes have to utilise whatever skills they have at their disposal to get by.
Equally, the concept of the "kept man" is not unknown and is certainly something I'd be prepared to have a stab at, given the right terms and conditions!

In short, NO.
I have never been financially dependent on a man (rather in the opposite in my last marriage), nor have I ever attempted to manipulate anyone by any means.
To be with someone because they have money doesn't sound like a recipe for happiness to me.

Re: Do all women prostitute themselves?
ok...let me rephrase...
not all women are lucky to be in a position that they can be independent even when they work damn hard for it...
and don't give me the reply that if you want something bad enough you can make it happen...that's only in an ideal world...and this world isn't like that.
There are a lot of women all over the world that are being tied down by men...and "manipulating" is their way of surviving.

Re: Do all women prostitute themselves?
The whole world is an entirely different arguement to the Western world, which is what I believe the article was referring to.

Re: Do all women prostitute themselves?
I have been in the situation where (because I was financially independent) the man didn't like it and he felt that I was taking away part of his role of being a man, not sure at this given stage the said man has managed to shake off the Neanderthal man image and able to walk upright !!!

Interesting subject...I suggest we move it to the Middle East Board so that I wouldn't taint it with my artistic input...You know how I hate talking about women...
