The only place that is "hard" to get into in Dubai is the Burj Al Arab and even then if you have whiteish skin and an attitude you can waltz straight in.

yes, but I only know people in Abu Dhabi.

Either way, we both obviously hope it stays safe and peaceful.
You can't convince me that nobody's tried, and I can't convince you that the police aren't Keystone Kops.

But if I had such serious concerns about security, I'd have gone back home long ago. At the moment I sleep like a baby and never lock my car doors.
