Diamond in The Desert
 

I have just finished reading a book called 'A Diamond In The Desert' by Jo Tatchell, about growing up in Abu Dhabi in the mid-seventies, and the change when returning.
As the subject wasn't too far from my own upbringing, I recognized so much of it, that I was willing to give the unknown bits the benefit of the doubt.

All in, a fascinating book that is enlightening, even if it has a strange sting in the tail.
