The desert island discs thread
...Based on the popular radio 4 programme.
The rules: You are to be a castaway on a desert island and you must choose eight pieces of music to take with you, one book (Not religious or Shakespeare) and one inanimate luxury (with no survival value). Also explain, briefly, why you would pick each.
