Fair enough, oh etymologous one. Where did I pick up "likely to corrupt or deprave" from? Seems etched in my memory, perhaps from my progressive French teacher last century who also taught us that "nice" isn't a word. And that Godard, Truffaut, Chabrol and their contemporaries were as suitable fodder for teenage boys as Everyone Home Should Have One. I stand corrected.

I seem to recall "likely to corrupt or deprave" is (or was) the legal definition of obscene.
