Day Passes at Hotels

Day Passes at Hotels
I did this last year, and we ended up going to the one and only royal mirage, and it was good but.....
Can anyone suggest any other ones? Some of these places look ace but I'm not sure how many of them do the day passes,
I may even go to Dubai Marine Resort next to me here at work, it's small but quite nice and has a cool little beach,
anyone been to any recently?

Re: Day Passes at Hotels
The following certainly used to do day passes:
Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Ritz Carlton
Grand Hyatt
Not sure of availability anywhere over Eid, as many places restrict day visitors at busiest times.

Arabian Park Hotel charges Dhs50 including Dhs25 worth of food and beverages, but only has a saltwater pool, no beach.

spugsy, try shoreside, http://www.shoreside.ae/home.html, it's a fab beach and is 250 dhs for the weekend, but you get 100 dhs back, and costs less in the week...

Shoreside is lovely as MM said, nice menu, not too pricey and good drink selection. If you go after 5pm they don't charge entrance and it is a great place to chill with sundowners

Just pack a cooler full of ice and drinks and go to one of the public beaches. I favour the quiet end of kite beach near the offshore yacht club.
A whole lot cheaper.

but it's got a great atmosphere, there are more and more facilities now, they've put up those big umbrellas, showers, toilets...then there are the blowup football things and the volleyball courts which people use and it's fun to watch..
we always order food from one of the Lebanese places on Beach Road and they come and deliver it on the beach...very nice...

yes, we always go to the kite beach behind Saga World and it's really nice down there, although it's been getting really really really busy lately...

Thanks for clearing that up...I was half expecting you to have to give them a full desciption of what you were wearing.
