one of my colleagues just left the company to join one of our customers. very clear that he's doing the client (female) who will now be his boss. The guy only got married last year (arranged marriage) and his wife was sent back to India after only a few months here.

Ok I've just been asked out on a date- I'm guessing its not you EUC lol- so can someone shed some light on the dating scene here, can you get away with a public snog at the end of the night or would that result in being flung into jail? Wouldnt be to keen on inviting a guy back to my apartment just to get a snog in as know hed be thinking he was getting lucky.

I've seen couples furiously getting off with each other in public.., and no one got busted.

Btw, I think the 'no affection in public' thing is over hyped, I've even seen Arab couples in full national dress walking round shopping malls holding hands with each other., and if you go to Bur Dubai you'll see lots of men walking around holding hands with each other and plenty of police nearby.

Probably the best advice is no straddling in public.
