Default Daily Mail admits to making stuff up...

All this "Winterval" stuff that Mad Melanie Phillips and Richard Littledick get frothy around the mouth about is actually a load of crap, and the paper have admitted as such in their new Corrections column.

Most newspapers do this, at least to fill space between stories they don't...hardly a surprise.

Even less surprising is the couldn't-be-more-red-if-they-tried New Statesmen bashing the right leaning popularist Daily Mail...does the New Statesmen have a corrections column? (or maybe just a column dedicated to who should be sent to the gulags after the revolution?)
