I still think you're a nice chap so I won't look at the previous page and your last post on it. But I will promise not to say anything more about curtains.

Re: Curtains / Blinds
I'm the nicest dickhead in Dubai.
That hasn't helped clear it up.

Re: Curtains / Blinds
At the end of the day Scamp can say "I did it my way"
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it my way
And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I've traveled each and every highway
But more, much more than this
I did it my way

Re: Curtains / Blinds
Thanks. I'm now thinking Roman Blinds which might require an actual professional rather than dragonmart but there's only one way to find out I guess.[/QUOTE]
Please don't get Roman blinds Once they start to hang crookedly they're the devil's own job to get back to hanging perfectly horizontally. Dust also tends to collect on top of and in the folds and looks bloody awful when you let the blinds down - you (or someone) will be forever vacuuming or brushing the bloody things to keep them clean. Then there's the question of where to fit them - inside the window reveal where light will leach into the room around the edges? Or across the outside of the window opening where light will also leach into the room? Just don't do it
