that place sounds awesome..

on another note in my younger years me and mates used to frequent a curry house in windsor called The Red Rose after nights on the booze. they stayed open all night and i had plenty of bizarre experiences there. people falling asleep in the food, falling off chairs and so on but the best one was when my aussie mate refused to order his food unless the waiter called him a c**ntface loudly as in ("what do you want c**ntface?"). it took 5 minutes of convincing but he did get a sizeable tip and it was an incredible 10-15 seconds after he finally shouted it. the restaurant went dead quiet and we all looked at the waiter as if in shock before finally starting laughing our heads off..

I would second that. We were there over Eid, menu looked limited but they made everything we asked for. Not had a better curry over here.

Loving the sound of that Biryani. Will investigate.

Another recommendation for Ravi's. It's awesome. Used to run through to Satwa and then eat there in my sweaty running gear, and get a taxi home. Fun times.
