Yes, I agree but my point is whats the difference between Zola being appointed and Di Canio being appointed ?

Zola has no experience apart from a few Italy Under 21 games ??

Both have Premiership experience, both are Italian and both are untried....., but one is a West Ham legend and the other belongs to Chelsea !

Doesnt make sense to me

I seriously think he would, he has passion, he's a perfectionist with training and living the right way with regards diet etc and am sure he would instill that in the players, and importantly he would have the fans on his side instantly

Was he any different to the likes of Souness, Mark Hughes, Ince and Roy Keane, all of which had their moments, but turned into pretty decent managers, who more often that not control themselves ?
