I know of a few friends here who won't be too happy to see this.

Yes, I can see that there may be a bit of an upset ahead. Doesn't really do Dubai's reputation much cop, either.

:blink::blink:
Dubai doesn't care about its indentured servitude / human trafficing problem so profiting from a partnership with R.Mugabe is right up their ally.

Though I suppose Mugabe is a pariah's in Western eyes while the West turns a blind eye to Dubai's many human rights violations , so while Dubai's indentured servitude/slavery/human trafficing won't hurt Dubai this Mugabe deal might??

So let me get this straight. Are you saying that Mugabe is any worse than Little Bush and B. Liar ?

Given what Mugabe did to his own people - yes.

I can't believe this is a serious question.

You've probably not looked into the question deep enough. The suggestion is that blair and bush have probably been responsible for more global deaths than Mugabe. While the public justifications were indeed different, the truth is that they were probably all doing it for their own means.

All that said, at least blair and bush didn't sanction deaths of those that voiced against them... Dr. Kelly aside, of course.

Mugabe is a hideous man. I'm less interested in his direct killings, I have more issue with the indirect consequences of his actions.
