Do any of you lovely lot have a contact tel number for DeV+ere Group Dubai?

I’m looking to contact any of their financial advisors since finding out the one I used to deal with has left (I only had their mobile no - doh!). I cannot for love nor money lay my hands on contact tel number and all Google seems to be able to provide is the DeV+ere‘Contact Us’ page which is utterly pointless as clearly any emails sent via that system end up directly in someones trash folder!

If someone has a switchboard number they could share I’d be eternally grateful!

Why would you want to contact them tho? To shout insults at them? To get the postal address so you can mail 'a little present'?

Personally I would stay away!

If you have policies under their agency it is a simple process to transfer to another broker and all brokers will have standard forms you can complete to action that.

Thanks for that Meow, that's kind of what I was hoping and exactly what I needed to hear.

The tossers still haven't called me back despite emailing them twice (Thurs & Sun), and calling them twice (yesterday & today)..........they'll not find me the most pleasant of clients once I finally do reach someone there!

do you actually need a broker? can't you cut the middle man out or is the industry set up to make that not worth your while - always wondered this

In most cases no. A lot of firms used to have direct sales people - the cost to the consumer was exactly the same if they used an independent advisor or went to the company directly. Many jurisdictions also forbid certain products being offered directly to retail investors due to their complexity.

In any case there's a difference between a broker and a qualified advisor.
