Commute Times

Quick and easy, on average length of time between leaving your house and getting to your usually place of work?

5 options.

currently 50mins from Al Reef to JAFZA. Will become 15mins if we do end up moving to Al Ghadeer in March.

Being optimistic with my vote of 1-2 hours, best I have done it is 1hr28, generally 1h45 though my longest back to Bahrain was 6h30, wow did the beer taste good that night!

20-25 mins at peak rush hour in the mornings - although i have done it in less than 7.5 mins (at 3am, with all the lights on green but with 2 cameras when testing the Range Rover Evoque)

Re: Commute Times

Depends. Normally 25 but 1hr 15 the other morning. It all depends on the Sharjah scumbags who cut in off the E311 at Mirdif. That's if I am in the office 50% of the time but if I am on site then it's ~1 1/2.

It's a long arduous journey but I have to cross the upstairs hallway, go down the stairs and cross another hallway before I get to my office.

The other day one of the local rags was quoting someone who was glad he lived in the same tower as his office, "so much extra time to sleep"

It was 25mins in the morning and 40-50 in the evening. Thanks to the new road for the rich and elite near the DIFC, it is now 25mins, both ways.
