Cobblers
Not peach and not a claim of rubbish, but the skilled shoe repairman.
Anyone know any good ones? I have a couple of pairs of shoes that need proper soles doing on them (Loakes, goodyear welted). I don't want to have to send back to the UK, it seems a right faff and takes a lifetime. Recommendations locally would be much appreciated. Thanks Scampsgotaholeinthesole |

Re: Cobblers
450 dizzers to get a double welted sole put on a pair here , actually cheaper sending them to the UK . Loakes will re welt them for around 60 quid . As someone said a decent cobbler isn't cheap but if you invest in a pair of shoes at 300-400 quid then it's a really good deal.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhGNHcwO9zI I got no problems paying that sort of cash as long as it's more convenient by being local. |
