Clever new variation on the Nigerian e-mail spam-scam......
This is quite clever - anyone else had this happen to them?
The scam e-mail about 'my cousin in Lagos died and I need your bank account number' (etc etc) is old hat now, and only idiots fall for it...... and any decent e-mail system filters it straight into the Junk or Spam folders.......... ........ but I've had a couple recently which were sent as Calendar Appointments/Invitations - which my system allows through unchecked - and straight into my calendar - and which are set to occur at a time which, by an amazing coincidence, started a few minutes ago (so I also get an 'Overdue' pop-up.......). :sneaky: |
