I agree with kittycat about the lack of pavements, and indeed concreting/landscaping more generally. But I think I've spent ten nights there since I moved in, and the price was absolutely right. It is a third the price of the place we moved to in 2007. A third!

We stayed in serviced apartments there when we first arrived in Dubai, in 2007. There is honestly no comparison now. My place is 3 minutes drive from SZR, and two minutes onto SZR.
