Re: Christmas
Yeah. Looking forward to Christmas. No fancy plans. Just to the folks in Somerset. Huge tree to decorate and chasing away the dogs who'll try to piss on it in excitement. Roast beef for the Eve, roast goose for the day. Yorkshire pud, creamed vegs, plum pud with brandy butter, mince pies and christmas cake, all my mother's amazing American and German cookies. Lots of booze and port and whisky. Fat round of stilton. Dozens and dozens of white candles lit in the dining room during dinner. Christmas Eve service. Singing christmas carols. Christmas socks in the morning with the orange and lumps of chocolates and odd gag gifts. Huddling around the fire in the afternoon and playing board games or cards. Long walks in the country if it isn't too wet. Friends and neighbours for Boxing Day.

Re: Christmas
My parents and brother are flying out on the 22nd Dec, My bro is only here for a week due to work but my Dad retired in June. But they 2 don't know a thing about it and wont know until the 20th my brother has organised Clothes for my dad and Aunt has gone shopping for my mum. And a cpl emails to my mums boss got her the time off. So when we tell them on the 20th they will be proper made up. If only we could have got them to the airport then told them but not to worry they'll love being over here with me and my sister.
