I remember rattling around in my parent's car as a kid. Seat belts were definitely optional and car seats were unheard of. I remember being taken by a teacher to a football game at another school when I was about 10 and the whole team sat in the boot of his car (a Peugeot estate thing). Today he would have been jailed for doing that!

At least there is a law against not having a child seat. I don't there is such a thing in Saudi.

There's a group called Buckle Up in the Back who's very active and is constantly doing presentations and "pester power" in schools.
Still, it beggars belief, doesn't it?

It angers me that people who have been lucky enough to have children can treat them in such a cavalier manner.

it's their cop out, say it's God's will and all will be forgiven. However it is not God's will at all and if they were true to their faith they would know it.
