Chicken Caesar Salad - how hard can it be?
Pointless foodie thread but stopped at Els Club after a Dubai meeting yesterday for lunch...ordered the Chicked Caesar...59 dh. No anchovies, no bacon bits, suspicious perfectly formed cubes of chicken....3/10
What is it with Golf clubs? The Chicken Caesar at City Golf in Abu Dhabi at 35 dh didn't have anchovies although better than Els Club's...5/10
Best Caesar in UAE imo is The (British) Club's - bastard big portion, brown roll on the side nice touch, they ask if you want the little fishes. 32 dh. 9/10
Love the idea of make your own caesar stations at some brunches but have yet to indulge.
Any more decent Caesars out there?

Re: Chicken Caesar Salad - how hard can it be?
I've given up trying.
I really dislike Anchovies, which isn't a problem but trying to understand if the sauce is laden with the bastards is a conversation I can't be bothered with.
Golf clubs generally seem to struggle sometimes. Al Badia decided my mrs didn't need her main meal when four of us ate at the weekend. I got told several times it was on its way until I saw the chef come upstairs. Asked him where it was and he panicked and legged it downstairs.
At least it was free after that...

Canada is great for Chicken Caesar salads. The nicest one I've had was at a ski resort in Lake Louise. An odd thing to eat when it's -15 outside but it was yummy.
